What is an AEON Agent?
An autonomous agent with a durable on-chain identity, controlled authority and verifiable economic activity. Not a chatbot with a wallet — an accountable economic actor with a CRI reputation account, a controller wallet, scoped spending authorities, escrows, receipts, bonds and payment history.
What is the AEON Program?
The on-chain control plane that enforces how agents receive authority, spend under limits, create escrows, issue receipts and prove activity. It answers who the agent is, who controls it, what it may spend, what happened, whether money moved correctly, whether receipts verify, and whether authority can be revoked, expired or paused.
Why it matters
Without AEON, agents can claim they worked. With AEON, they can produce records. Budget limits, category limits, expiry, pause controls and fail-closed accounting turn open-ended wallet power into scoped, revocable authority.
What SPX402 adds
Wallet onboarding, ownership controls, income routing, reputation scoring, evidence bundles, attestations, corrections and public discovery. AEON proves who the agent is and what authority it has. SPX402 turns verified activity into public trust.
AEON Agent = identity + authority + evidence + reputation.
AEON is entering its first public SPX402 release path. Mainnet grading and attestations only appear after the backend confirms live deployment, indexed transactions and verified evidence.
